The world is facing growing water challenges, and Israel is emerging as the inspirational case study on “how to do things right” in the water arena.  Water experts, government officials, entrepreneurs and investors are on their way to Tel Aviv to share ideas and forge cooperations in the water sphere. The heart of the event is a full, 2 day professional conference, taking place September 12-14.  The conference will be accompanied by numerous events on the site and around Israel.
The WATEC event provides a unique forum for Israeli technology innovators and international water and energy professionals to meet and forge cooperations. The event is a huge success every year with 25,000+ visitors (including thousands of international visitors), 200+ exhibitors, 150+ international delegations and 30+ government ministers arriving from every continent.

WATEC ISRAEL: If the previous Watec events emphasized the technologies that can serve as the key to a much more efficient exploitation of natural resources (Water, Soil, Energy & Materials) this year’s conference will discuss the WATEC V.I.P: Vision, Innovation, Practice in the water field and technologies.

Cleanvest Summit 2017 – Pre-Conference Seminar

The success of the WATEC event was complimented by a number of important satellite events.  One of these is the Cleanvest, a full day investors summit, which precedes the conference and exhibition a day before.  At this special Investors Conference, the challenges facing the water investment community will be discussed. You will be introduced to new and innovative Israeli technologies. The CleanVest Summit serves as a great opportunity to meet entrepreneurs, water professionals, investors, and government officials that are part of the Clean-tech community. 200+ participants, including international investors and Israeli start-ups met at this exclusive forum.  20+ cleantech start-ups in two sessions had 6 minutes each to present their case to investors.  The investment groups present held billions of dollars of potential seed money.  Feedback on the event was extraordinary, with both investors and start-ups feeling that the truly promising connections were made.  Boaz Albaranes of Israel NewTech will share the experience of the Cleanvest Summit, “It is a remarkable event.  I’m sure the foreigners that will come a day early did not regret it. I’m certain that significant business will emerge from this forum.”
